Germany Bets on AI to Replace Retiring Workers

Germany isn't exaggerating: between 2025 and 2045, the country will lose roughly 6 million workers to retirement. That's like emptying an entire city the size of Cologne from the labor market. Without fixes, German GDP risks contracting, and taxes on the few remaining workers supporting pensioners become unsustainable.
