GitHub unveiled Copilot Workspace, a supercharged IDE where you describe what you want to build and AI writes everything: code, tests, documentation.

It's not autocomplete: it's full feature generation. You say "add OAuth authentication" and it proposes files, changes, and even commits. You review and approve.

Does it really work? On standard tasks, yes. On edge cases or complex projects, you still need a human who knows what's happening. But for boilerplate and CRUD, it's a blessing.

The risk? Companies hiring fewer junior developers, thinking AI is enough. Spoiler: it's not. Someone still needs to understand what that code is doing.
