Dan Ives, global head of tech research at Wedbush Securities, certainly thinks so. He believes the June dip for the seven largest tech companies was a bit overdone, almost an opportunity for those who know where to look. Basically, a buying chance.

These "Magnificent 7" include giants like Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Nvidia, and Tesla. They are the companies that have driven much of the market in recent years. Dan Ives stated to Bloomberg that the "Magnificent 7" will "significantly" outperform expectations in the second half of the year.

Ives calls it a "huge validation moment" for big tech stocks. Essentially, the next round of quarterly corporate results should confirm that these big tech players are stronger than the market believed in June. A bit like when a friend catches a cold, but then bounces back to run a marathon.
