What is it, and what's its actual purpose?

This project, called livetennisapi-, is a server that brings real-time tennis data directly to artificial intelligences. The idea is simple: give bots and assistants the ability to know what's happening on a tennis court as it happens.

Until yesterday, asking an AI model 'who's winning Nadal's match?' was like playing the lottery. It often gave you old data, or worse, completely fabricated results. livetennisapi-mcp solves that problem.

Developed by livetennisapi, the livetennisapi-mcp project is available on GitHub and offers an MCP server that connects live tennis APIs to AI agents like Claude and Cursor. But why should an AI care about a bouncing yellow ball?

Why do AIs need "real" and "immediate" data?

Artificial intelligences are great at chatting, but they fail miserably when it comes to up-to-date facts. They think they know everything, but their data often stops months ago. For live events, it's a disaster.
