What it is

The veteran of no-code automation has integrated AI in two ways: "AI Actions" lets you use GPT to transform data mid-Zap, while "Zapier Agents" creates conversational bots connected to all your apps. If you already use Zapier for automation, adding AI costs little and requires zero code.

How to use it, step by step

    Sign in to zapier.com (free account) and create a new 'Zap'.

    Pick the trigger: the event that starts the automation (e.g. 'new form submitted').

    Add an 'AI by Zapier' step to have GPT process the data (summarize, classify, write a reply).

    Connect the following steps to your apps (Slack, Gmail, Notion, etc.).

    Alternatively try 'Zapier Agents' to build an assistant that acts across apps via conversation.
